We are at it again. Except we have changed our services that were offered on the back of the card.
Currently offering; demo work, flooring, painting, changing out ceiling fans and some other odds and ends. We also are in the process of offering snow plowing/shoveling/salting services. Will update everyone as soon as the vehicle is road worthy and ready to take on clients. Gonna get a Instagram going eventually.

I also want to give a shout out to my co-owned business Mountain Hippie Customs this business is growing super fast and I'm excited to announce that several new things are coming. This business is on Instagram and etsy. Creating a tiktok for it soon. Such an amazing artist I get the privilege of working with Savanah Gates

It's been a while but I wanted to let all the amazing clients know that the business has been doing well and is finally able to start taking on new clients. So tell your friends.
However we will only be taking on new clients at this moment for Lvp flooring and painting. We also will be announcing a new service we will be offering very soon that will be offered as soon as its revealed.
Go support the new business that I started with an amazing person/business partner Savanah Gates.
Mountain Hippie Customs not only does amazing custom art but has been learning some remodeling so that both businesses can grow with each other.

To all our valued customers,
We are shutting down for the rest of 2022.

Existing clients feel free to reach out for small jobs or previously discussed jobs.
New clients reach out in 2023.

To give a little insight, lots of new investments and business opportunities are presenting themselves and to not look into them would be foolish.

Also after several years of nonstop work , struggles etc. This man is taking a much needed vacation as well as focusing on remodeling my entire house.

With that being said I'd still love to hire some people to help with all the projects we will have going on at the house and property. Experience is required as I dont have time to teach ATM.

Double D Mountain Services offers painting as one of our home improvement specialties.

This client hired DDMS to paint their son's bedroom. The original color was a lilac purple, all four walls and ceiling were painted in this color.

We taped off all the trim on the floors, doors and windows. Removed all the outlet and light switch covers as well as taped off all the exposed outlets and controls. Our clients chose "Treasure Map" blue for the walls and we painted the ceiling in a flat 'Ultra White'.

This really updated the room to a fresh, new look and we think it turned out great!

DDMS got to go see a close friend that is like a brother to me for two weeks . He has been supporting the business since we first started. We finally got to do a job together and I got to see part of Georgia. After this business trip we are considering opening a business together. Big shout out to Brother Bill.
This was an amazing tile job we did together and we both got to learn a few things from each other.

This bathroom got a complete overhaul. We put up cement board over all the surfaces in the shower and floor which would be getting new tile. We also put cement board tape and blue guard (always trust the experts when it comes to tile, blue guard or red guard is a water barrier when installing tile if your tile expert isn't installing this crucial element you may want to reconsider who is installing your tile) Bill is an expert in tile and helped DDMS grow our tile skills. We do offer some tile work as one of our services. We completed the flooring tile first and then the shower. Check out these photos to see our process.

These photos show the process of fixing sub-par work in one of our client's bathrooms. The first few photos show what DDMS was hired to fix; it appears there was floating done over dry wall seams which were done over top of the preexisting texture and left unpainted.

We tore out the unsightly old sheetrock and the old ventilation fan which wasn't properly installed. We installed a new ventilation fan/ light with the residential code hard pipe and exterior cap. The new fan/light combo gives the client light in their shower. Next we installed blue-board (or green-board is the only sheetrock that should ever be installed in bathrooms or anywhere in the home near water to prevent mold). We always tape and float sheetrock to create a seamless look. We also added a skim coat of mud to create a uniform look across the ceiling before texturing and painting. This was much more cost effective for this situation as opposed to sanding the entire ceiling and finding more problems.

Double D Mountain Services is pleased to share this deck tear-out with the community.

This deck was an eyesore for our clients and so we completely tore it out. We take care to make sure the roof shingles weren't damaged during the demolition process. We started with the over hanging roof and carefully took off the old shingles and plywood. Next we dismantled the side wall and finally the old deck.

Double D Mountain Services does all kinds of demolition work from decks, fences and even interior work.

It's almost that time of year, we're looking forward to sunny skies and warmer weather because that means it's fence season!

Double D Mountain Services is happy to present this custom built fence with the community, built right in the heart of Teller County.

Our client wanted the property fenced off so their large dogs could run freely without worries of escaping.

This woven wire fence is just one of many that Double D Mountain Services can build.

We auger holes because Rocky Mountain terrain can be challenging to dig by hang. Then we set our wood posts and build H's and corner H's for strength and longevity. Finally we stretch the wire and attach it with fasteners. We also built 4 custom gates for ease of access.
