We found him. And he was hungry. 😂

Our Dryer Vent Superheroes van made a stop at Highland Shores Community Center, and what we found inside the dryer vent was no joke.

🧹 Lint packed throughout the vent line
💨 Airflow seriously restricted
🪶 A huge amount of lint removed
🔧 The dryer transition duct needed to be replaced

We love our fur babies, but if you have dogs at home, you know pet hair gets everywhere—including straight into your dryer vent!

The Lint Monster struck again, this time taking over a roof vent in Denton's iconic Idiot's Hill neighborhood! 👹🏠

Take a look at what we found when we went up on the roof:

Photos 1 & 2: The Lint Monster was practically spilling out of the roof jack! That heavy, grey felt-like buildup was completely choking the main exhaust outlet.

Photos 3–6: Inside the laundry room, the rigid metal duct above the shelf had disconnected from the flexible foil line below. Not only was lint filling up the line, but humid exhaust air was leaking straight into the room!

When a roof jack gets blocked like this, your dryer has to push against a wall of backpressure. That means laundry stays damp, heating elements overheat, and your electric bills go through the roof.

Our team cleared out the roof cap, removed the blockage, and properly re-connected and sealed the interior ductwork so this home can breathe easy and operate safely again!
