Another exciting milestone for the LASE family of companies!

Laser Photonics together with Fonon Technologies has advanced to the next phase of the U.S. Air Force Shaw AFB Battle Lab evaluation process for its Laser Shield Anti-Drone (LSAD) technology. Following a successful review of our solution brief, the team has been invited to present LSAD's capabilities in a formal pitch session focused on rapid point defense and multi-threat/swarm defeat applications.

As unmanned aerial threats continue to evolve, we're proud to be developing innovative directed-energy solutions that support mission readiness and the future of defense technology.

As we head into the Fourth of July holiday, we're reflecting on the partnerships, innovation, and dedication that help strengthen our nation and its allies.

Following a productive SOF Week 2026, the Laser Photonics team had the opportunity to engage with U.S. military stakeholders, including U.S. SOCOM program offices, while also connecting with allied and partner nations from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Representing the company were Matt Kime, Ann Tewari, and Pooja Jeeva.

Laser Photonics continues to advance its LSAD and related laser technologies while supporting the expansion of TAA-compliant product offerings for U.S. and international defense markets.

As Ann Tewari noted: "We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to technologies that support our warfighters, strengthen partnerships, and help protect the freedoms we celebrate this Independence Day."
