AJR Masonry is a busy, family-owned masonry company with over 40 years of experience in all areas of residential and commercial masonry and concrete. Our friendly, diverse team constructs, restores and excavates on a multitude of projects throughout New Jersey.

We are steadily growing and seeking hard-working individuals to join our team. We have numerous positions available for hire and accepting resumes for concrete crew laborers, concrete crew leaders (foreman), machine operators, masons, and general laborers.

No experience necessary. We are willing to train driven and ambitious applicants that are motivated and committed. However, experience is preferred in any kind of masonry and concrete work. Ability to read a blueprint and bilingual in English and Spanish also a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:
A valid driver's license. Class A CDL and/or DOT medical card is preferred. Reliable transportation to and from our yard location in Bayville IS A MUST.

JOB DUTIES:
-laying block/brick according to blueprints
-setting pavers/lay out work using a chalkline, level, or square
-forming and pouring footings, flatwork, and curbs according to blueprints
-basic machine operating including skid steer, backhoe and mini-excavator
-mixing cement if needed
-cutting block/brick/cement
-lifting and carrying heavy objects
-ability to use power tools, hand tools, and small equipment**

-Have good communication skills
-Ability to work within a team structure
-Reliable and responsible

CLASS A CDL - DRIVER

We are currently searching for the right individuals to add to our workforce. Our company has over 40 years of experience in all areas of residential and commercial masonry. We're accepting applications and resumes for experienced Class A CDL truck drivers.

We’re looking for someone to drive a dump truck and a roll-off. No experience necessary in masonry, but experience is a plus. Willingness to get out and work is preferred.

A valid Class A driver’s license is required and a clean driving record with no moving violations. Must be able to take direction, but also have initiative. Must have ability to quickly learn and/or prior knowledge of loading and unloading machines.

We’re currently looking for a laborer. All experience levels will be considered and willing to train. Duties to include digging, wheelbarrowing, carrying forms, grading, helping to pour and level concrete among other things. Drivers license is preferred, along with a clean driving history. Must be on time everyday, willing to work, and motivated. Pay will reflect experience, motivation and willingness to learn and take initiative.
