Fort Collins will always be home. But Wasson-ECE outgrew one zip code a long time ago.

In 2011, we opened our Southeast Asia office in Singapore — bringing our instrumentation expertise closer to customers across the Asia-Pacific region. Four years later, in 2015, Wasson-ECE CZ S.R.O. opened in the Czech Republic, complete with full production and test capabilities, extending our reach deep into European markets.

What started as a four-person operation in a Colorado garage now spans three continents, serving customers with the same precision and reliability that defined that first Gas Auto-Sampler back in 1987.

The names on the door have grown. The standard hasn't changed.

By 1990, the garage was already in the rearview mirror.
Wasson-ECE had built enough credibility to become one of the first three channel partners with Agilent Technologies — a milestone that validated not just our products, but our engineering philosophy. That partnership started with lab GC applications, where we earned a reputation for guaranteed solutions: accurate, repeatable results our customers could trust on the bench.
Two years later, in 1992, we took that same reliability into the field, building our first process analyzer GC utilizing the Agilent chassis. It was a turning point: we weren't just making lab instruments anymore. We were building the foundation of a process analysis business.
In 1996, that growth demanded a real home — and Wasson-ECE moved production and testing into our Fort Collins facility, where we still operate today.
From a garage startup to an Agilent channel partner, lab GC provider, and process GC manufacturer in less than a decade. Not bad for four guys with a workbench.

It started in a garage in 1986.
Four engineers with a shared belief: that gas sampling could be done smarter, more precisely, and more reliably than anything on the market. No big budget. No global footprint. Just a workbench, a vision, and the drive to build something from scratch.
Wasson-ECE Instrumentation was born that year in Fort Collins, Colorado — and within a year, the team had launched their first product: the Gas Auto-Sampler.
We're sharing this photo because some stories are worth telling. And ours is just getting started.
