Big progress on our Livermore SP TruLog siding and deck replacement project!

Architectural plans and engineering are complete, and the deck permit has been submitted and is in process!

The team has been doing an amazing job bringing this transformation together. Window and door trim is installed and painted, and the steel soffit and fascia are almost complete. Next up: gutters, removal of the existing deck, prep to start the rebuild, while also completing the install of the Western Cedar TruLog steel siding!

The ARR bathroom renovation is complete! This was a truly unique project, and our clients were amazing to work with throughout the entire process.

The handcrafted tiles were meticulously installed, with no two tiles being exactly alike. This full renovation also included a custom shower pan, custom vanity, sink, mirror, and shower glass.

The finished bathroom now complements the rest of our clients’ home beautifully, and we’re incredibly grateful they chose SmithBuiltSolutions to bring their vision to life.

The Livermore SP TruLog and Deck project is coming along great! Our team has been working hard, and we are excited to be working in a place with such amazing views, beautiful wildlife, and wonderful clients!

Exterior trim installation is officially underway, with exterior paint scheduled for late next week. From there, we’ll move into soffit and fascia installation.

Once the permit is fully issued, we’ll also begin removing the existing deck and rebuilding to create a more functional outdoor living space.

To finish it all off, this home will feature Western Cedar TruLog steel siding with Musket Brown trim, soffit, fascia, and gutters—a combination that’s going to completely transform the look of this home.

Another bathroom transformation complete!

The TA Bathroom Renovation came with a surprise once demolition began — hidden black mold behind the existing finishes. Definitely not something you want to uncover, but exactly why opening up walls during a renovation can sometimes reveal conditions that need to be addressed before moving forward.

We took care of the unexpected issue, made sure the affected area was properly addressed, and then got back to building.

Now this bathroom is finished, refreshed, and looking great. We’re proud of how this one came together and thankful to our clients for trusting us through the process — surprises and all.

At SmithBuiltSolutions, our goal is always to do things the right way, communicate clearly when unexpected conditions arise, and leave our clients with a finished space they can enjoy for years to come.

The JD & JS window well replacement projects are almost complete.

With these two projects just a few blocks apart, our crew was able to divide and conquer on these 4 window well replacements.

Demo ✅
Excavation ✅
New window wells installed ✅
Backfill & compaction ✅

Today we wrapped up both projects with new energy-efficient egress windows, secure egress ladders, premium window well covers, final grading, landscape cleanup, and last we will complete a little drywall repair around 1 window.

SmithBuiltSolutions is gearing up for our next TruLog project! The Livermore SP project will consist of a complete exterior demo, new trim, housewrap, Western Cedar TruLog siding install, fascia, soffits, and upgraded 6” gutters. We will also be removing, reengineering, and rebuilding a fully permitted new deck and railing. We are so grateful to our amazing clients for putting their trust in SmithBuiltSolutions and we are looking forward to getting this project started!

This is the TA Bathroom remodel! On demo day, we uncovered black mold in the wall. Full stop! We gathered all proper supplies for containment and successfully removed all affected areas. We removed the divider wall from bedroom, mitigated, reframed, installed all new mold/mildew resistant drywall, installed a new exhaust fan, tub, tile, flooring, vanity, toilet, and trim! All is well and we are happy to be able to deliver an updated, healthy bathroom back to our amazing clients.
