The BB TruLog project is coming to a close! A sunroom and some final custom details and another amazing project in the books! This exterior renovation features TruLog steel siding, and the finished product turned out incredible. The new siding completely transformed the look of this home while providing the durability and low-maintenance performance that makes TruLog such a great exterior product.

A huge thank you to our amazing client for trusting SmithBuiltSolutions with their home. They have been absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish, and projects like this are a great reminder of how much we appreciate the people behind every project we take on.

This job definitely came with some unforgettable visitors… 🐻 We had a few bears stop by the jobsite to check on our progress! Safe to say, not every project comes with that kind of supervision.

From the details around the windows and doors to the soffit, fascia, trim, roof, and siding installation, our goal was to give this home an exterior that looks just as good up close as it does from the road.

The ARR bathroom remodel is looking amazing! Custom Euro poured shower pan and waterproofing is complete and tile has begun! These are handcrafted 4x4 tiles purchased in Santa Fe specifically for this project! Our clients have been amazing to work with and we cannot wait to bring it all together for them.

The SP Garage Gym Conversion is complete! Turned out awesome and client is thrilled to be using his new space! All inspections passed first round, certificate of completion issued! One of our favorite features was the ice bath nook. Another fun project for another amazing client!

A brief pause on the BB TruLog project while we wait for roofing materials and new roof to go on before finishing the new soffit and fascia! The bear activity has been high, coming back to visit nightly! This momma bear has certainly been making her rounds as several neighbors have mentioned visits as well!

Roof goes on next week and we are excited to share the finished product once complete!

The ARR Midwestern Bathroom Remodel is underway! Demolition is complete including removal of closet to enlarge shower. Subfloor removal and replacement. New valve and rough plumbing complete! Up next is prep and install of new custom poured shower pan followed by waterproofing and tile installation! Awesome clients! Amazing team! Excited to see this unique midwestern style bathroom come to be! Follow along for more updates to come!

A little deck replacement to end the week! This client is in the process of listing her house and the rear deck was definitely not going to be helpful! It was literally sinking into the ground! We removed the old, poured new caissons, installed a proper ledger and gave this back yard the touch up it needed! Best of luck to our client in the sale of your home! Thank you for putting your trust in us to get it done!

The BB TruLog project has had some uninvited visitors! Our client was awakened in the middle of the night Tuesday by what he thought was his dog in the kitchen. To his surprise, when he spoke out to him, he was shocked to hear him groan on the floor right next to the bed. He jumped out of bed and walked out into the living room to encounter this big mama bear in his kitchen helping herself to some dinner. Luckily it found its way out and no one was injured except for a window screen, a 50lb bag of dog food, and some patio furniture. Well, needless to say, she came back again earlier this evening with her cubs! Luckily staying outside this time! Permission was granted to share! Grateful our client is safe! Keep your head on a swivel! Bears are thick in Noco right now! And they hungry!

The BB TruLog project is moving right along! Team is doing amazing! Even through Lightening storms, ⚡️torrential downpours, ⛈️ windstorms, 💨 hail, a bear 🐻, yes a bear, 16 cans of wasp spray, 🐝 lost dogs reunited, 🐾 100 degree days, 🔥 and more, we press ahead! We will be wrapping up the siding tomorrow, pause for a roof replacement, and then on to finish with new soffit, fascia, and gutters!

We are very excited for our next TruLog masterpiece to come into existence! Amazing property! Amazing homeowner! It’s only right that we help complete with an amazing exterior finish in the Hickory TruLog Steel Siding! After the old vinyl siding was removed, we went back in time to find the original siding left behind. We removed the lower lap and installed new sheathing in order to obtain a flat substrate for the new TruLog Siding! New moisture barrier in place! LP trim installed! We will also be reframing the rear soffit where an old patio cover once stood as well as a full roof replacement with new gutters to finish it off! This will be an amazing transformation and perfect for this mountain home! The BB TruLog project is officially underway! Stay tuned for more updates to come!
