The CGRS Emergency Response Line recently got a call from a local municipality about a paint spill. The paint had already dried, but the municipality wanted it cleaned up before the next rainfall could wash it into nearby storm drains.

With cones in place, the crew used a pressure washer and our vacuum unit to complete the cleanup safely and efficiently. All collected waste was transported to a licensed facility for proper disposal.

The CGRS team is in Las Vegas this week for the 2026 PEI Convention at the NACS Show. It’s a great chance to catch up with customers and partners from across the fueling equipment and services industry and see what’s new on the expo floor.

We're thrilled to welcome Tank Solutions to the CGRS family! 🎉

CGRS has acquired Tank Solutions, a Phoenix-area underground and aboveground storage tank (UST/AST) installation, removal, and repair contractor that has served fuel distributors, convenience retailers, and commercial site owners across Arizona for nearly thirty years.

Tank Solutions President and Owner Wade Pettit and his team have earned an outstanding reputation in the Arizona market, both for the quality of their tank installation, removal, and modification work and for their active role in the state's Tank Site Improvement Program (TSIP), which helps fueling sites statewide complete compliance upgrades.

"Wade and his team have spent nearly thirty years earning the confidence of fuel distributors and site owners across Arizona," said Eric Hick, CEO of CGRS. "We're excited about what this partnership means for our ability to serve the Arizona market at a higher level."

Tank Solutions customers will keep working with the people they know and trust. Wade and the full Tank Solutions team, including field technicians, crew leaders, and project managers, are continuing with the combined business. Those customers will also gain access to CGRS's broader compliance, inspection, and construction services.

Together, we can support Arizona customers across the full lifecycle of their fueling infrastructure, from routine compliance and leak detection to installation, repair, and construction. This is an exciting step in building a full-service Arizona platform, and we can't wait for what's ahead.

CGRS Energy and Environmental team members attended the CEMS Fall Conference, "From Policy to Practice: Environmental Leadership in 2026," held at CSU Spur in Denver. As in years past, our team was a proud sponsor of this event held by the Colorado Environmental Management Society.

The day covered a lot of ground, from NEPA's regulatory overhaul to microplastics, subsurface contaminant hydrology, and v***r intrusion site closures. A highlight was the water panel with leaders from Denver Water, Northern Water, and Ute Water Conservancy District/DRIP, followed by a keynote from Jason Ullmann on managing Colorado's drought plan in the driest year on record.

We're headed into the rest of the week with some new ideas, and a sharper read on where Colorado's water and environmental policy is headed.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful Fall day for our company golf outing this year. This Saturday the team met at Marianan Butte Golf Course in Loveland to enjoy some out-of-office time together.⛳🏌️‍♂️

The California Fuels & Convenience Alliance Summit is wrapping up today in Coronado, CA.

Our team was on the exhibit show floor this week talking AST/UST compliance, iota® Enhanced Leak Detection, Tracer Tight® ELD, SB989 testing, and the full suite of CGRS services with attendees from across the fuel and convenience industry.
