Pool Deck Transformation – Before & After
This pool deck project began with two rows of porcelain coping already installed by the pool contractor using material from Hardscape.com. To ensure a flawless match in color and texture, we coordinated directly with Hardscape.com to source pavers from the exact same batch. We carefully removed the second row of coping that had been placed, allowing us to realign and continue the pattern exactly as the homeowner envisioned.
The entire deck was installed over a mortar set base, allowing us to grout all joints for a seamless, durable finish. While mortar set installations require more time and investment up front, they significantly reduce long-term maintenance. With porcelain pavers, there’s no need for sealing or joint re-sanding — just the occasional outdoor bleach and a quick pressure wash to keep it looking like new.
As part of the project, we also installed a Deco Drain system to redirect water collecting under the gutter out to the surrounding landscape, helping to prevent puddling and drainage issues.
The final result is a low-maintenance, elegant pool deck that will last for years to come — clean, level, and built to perform.
