Where’s Bouncer? Wherever they’re biting.

Capt. Bouncer Smith kicked off his fishing marathon with Bill Lepree of South Florida Bass Charters, finding Florida bass and plenty of cichlids willing to play.

After more than 50 years guiding anglers, sharing his knowledge, and supporting conservation, he’s still just as happy with a rod in his hand. And wherever he goes, he brings a little Star brite and Star Tron along for the ride.

The blue hat is easy to spot. The lucky tag tucked inside? That’s part of the fishing gear, too.

Losing the fishing contest means winning boat wash duty.

Throwing it back to Rush’s trip to Venice, Louisiana, with the Newmans at Journey South Outfitters . Chasing redfish with Moe came with a little friendly competition and some cleanup duty, with Ceramic Wash & Wax on hand to help.

Big reds, good company, and a clean boat to finish it off. A classic Local Knowledge trip.

The catches get the photos. The people are why Jimmy keeps showing up.

As a veteran himself, Capt. Jimmy Armel’s commitment to those who served is personal.

Through Knot Lucky Foundation, Jimmy pours his time and passion into getting fellow veterans out fishing, giving them a chance to connect, share some laughs, and enjoy a day with people who understand....and as fellow watermen, there’s a lot to be said for a few hours fishing with good company.

There’s a different kind of peace that being on the water brings to people like Jimmy and us, whether that means a great fish, time with family, or a friendship that carries on long after you're back at the dock.
