A critical infrastructure upgrade delivered at an impressive scale. Revisiting one of ChenMoore’s most impactful wastewater projects. The City of Fort Lauderdale’s 30-inch Force Main Rehabilitation Program remains a standout example of large-scale utility infrastructure delivered under challenging conditions. Working alongside as the design-build contractor, ChenMoore led the design for the replacement and rehabilitation of nearly 20,000 linear feet of wastewater forcemain through four phases of construction. The project involved extensive horizontal directional drilling, trenchless installation beneath major roadways and waterways, complex permitting, environmental coordination, and maintenance of continuous wastewater service throughout construction.
