MARLIN now IMEG was busy working in Monroe County at the National Night Out Back-to-School Event. This outreach effort supported the Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow (ATAT) campaign's mission to improve safety and awareness for vulnerable road users throughout the community. The focus was on raising awareness and educating the public about pedestrian and bicycle safety laws by providing informational cards, coloring books, a "Test Your Knowledge" safety challenge, and back-to-school items. Many adults who participated in the safety challenge were surprised they did not receive a perfect score, which created valuable learning opportunities and discussions about traffic safety.
