The F.L.C.D.C’s purpose is to increase affordable housing, identify and implement economic development and alleviate poverty in the Northwest section of Fort Lauderdale, as well as serve as an advocate for the residents of this targeted section. The F.L.C.D.C is a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) designation by the City of Fort Lauderdale.

WE DID IT. What an incredible afternoon with our FLCDC community!
Yesterday's FLCDC Resident Health & Resource Day was everything we hoped it would be
and more. Families came out, health screenings were done, kids played, neighbors
connected, and the We Love Lauderdale spirit was in full effect. Thank you to our amazing
volunteers — you made this possible. Thank you to Urban Health Partnerships for bringing
expert health resources to our community. And a huge thank you to Paradise Bank for
sponsoring this event and investing in Fort Lauderdale families. This is what community
