Give your teen a head start in chemistry this summer, without the boring lectures! 🧪✨

Club SciKidz Charlotte South is offering a dynamic 'Chemistry Concoctions' camp for ages 13-15. Campers will spend a full week conducting 15 fascinating experiments, including safe smoke bombs, metal flame tests, fluorescent polymer slime, strawberry DNA extraction, and more! 🍓💥

This 100% lab-based camp is the perfect way to get a solid grasp of chemical symbols, reactions, and lab safety before high school, all while having serious fun. No sitting and listening, just doing!

📅 When: Starts June 15, 2026
📍 Where: St John's United Methodist Church, Fort Mill

At our Junior Scientist Camp at Club SciKidz Charlotte South, our campers had a fantastic day of hands-on exploration and discovery.

🌱 Secret Life of Plants: They investigated the crucial role plants play in our daily lives and got up-close with roots, leaves, and seeds.

Building a Sweet Soil Model: Campers learned about soil layers, the importance of worms, and other living things that create healthy soil while constructing a delicious, edible 'Wormz and Dirt' model. 😋

Throughout these activities, they weren't just having fun—they were practicing key skills like observation, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.

We can't wait to see what discoveries they make tomorrow!

Our Little Builders had an absolutely wonderful first day at Club SciKidz Charlotte South! 🚧🧱 The campers dove right into a world of hands-on engineering, building, and discovery. 🌍

It was a busy day of learning and fun! Our new engineers:
🚂 Mastered sequencing with the LEGO® Coding Express trains.
🚙 Explored simple machines and wheels using LEGO® Tech Machines.
📖 Read *Rosie Revere, Engineer*, discovering how perseverance helps solve problems.
🏗️ Faced design challenges comparing heavy and light objects.

Most importantly, they spent the day practicing the key skills of future scientists and engineers: creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. We are so proud of our little scientists!

A quick peek at the amazing first day of Junior Scientist camp at Club SciKidz Charlotte South! From studying the hidden life of plants (and starting a week-long experiment!) to learning how healthy soil is made with a sweet edible model, the science fun never stopped. They even dove into the world of reptiles and zoology!

Their observation and critical thinking skills are already getting a workout. Who knew science could be this delicious? 😋

Do you have a curious little one who loves to mix, measure, and make a mess? Our Little Chemist summer camp is the perfect introduction to the wild and crazy world of chemistry!

From our stockpile of hundreds of recipes, we’ve chosen the absolute best hands-on experiments. Your camper will explore the magic of measurement and sequencing while creating wacky, hands-on chemical concoctions!

Is your child ready to become a robotic engineer this summer? Our BattleBots Unleashed! Summer Camp (Ages 11-13) is where science and technology connect in a spectacular way!

Campers will spend 5 thrilling days designing, building, and coding their own VEX robots using VEXcode Python. It all culminates in an epic Tournament Showdown to see whose bot reigns supreme! 🏆
