Drywall Hanger/Finisher Skills and qualifications:
● Perform drywall finishing tasks, including taping, mudding, and
sanding
● Repair and patch damaged drywall
● Prepare surfaces for painting or wallpapering
● Install corner beads and trim around windows and doors
● Apply texture to walls and ceilings as needed
● Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and
project specifications
● Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as painters and
carpenters, to complete projects on time and within budget
● Knowledge of framing carpentry, door hanging, and masonry is
beneficial
● Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality
workmanship
● Ability to work independently or as part of a team
● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project
requirements
● Basic knowledge of caulking and construction painting technique
Painter Skills and qualifications:
● Good color vision and aesthetic instincts
● Attention to detail
● Physical strength, stamina and dexterity
● Familiarity with painting tools and materials
● Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on
schedule
● Customer service skills, if working with clients
● Collaboration and teamwork with the crew
● Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking
tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them
free of paint
● Preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them, filling holes
and cracks with putty and sanding them until they’re smooth
● Removing and reinstalling fixtures (e..g, doorknobs, electric
switch covers) as necessary
● Familiar with harnesses or scaffolding if the specific job requires
it
Skilled-Experienced Handyman:
Be proficient in the following trades:
● Strong ‘multi-skill’ background
● Exterior/Interior Paint
● Drywall install and finish
● Basic electrical
● Tiling
● Flooring
● Framing
Requirements:
● A minimum of 2 years experience
● Be proficient in your skill/trade
● Drivers license
● Own vehicle
● Own tools to complete jobs assigned to you
● Follow safeguards, rules and regulations
