Daybreak For Birthdays Foundation, INC. Helping other people with their fight against cancer. We do this by making hats and lap blankets at no charge to help patients during treatment.

This Foundation plans to expand. This Foundation was started because I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer on April 19, 2011. I underwent 6 months of Chemotherapy and will have 33 treatments of Radiation Therapy. The side effects that bothered me the most was the hair loss that caused my head to be cold all the time and the circulation problems in my legs left my legs cold. I want to help oth

er cancer patients get through their fight as comfortable as possible. This is why I knit and crochet hats and lap blankets for cancer patients.
