✈️ Big aviation growth is coming to Florida.

Otto Aerospace is moving forward with plans for a major new manufacturing operation at Cecil Airport in Jacksonville, where it will produce its next-generation Phantom 3500 business jet.

Construction of the new facility is expected to begin in 2028, with aircraft production targeted for around 2030. In the meantime, Otto is renovating a 59,000-square-foot hangar for research, development and experimental aircraft assembly as it works toward FAA certification. The Phantom 3500’s first flight is currently targeted for 2027.

Otto also plans to relocate its headquarters from Fort Worth to Jacksonville and eventually develop more than 600,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space at Cecil Airport.

It’s another exciting sign of Florida’s growing role in the future of aviation — and one we’ll be watching closely here at Treasure Coast Avionics. 🛩️

Beechcraft Denali Nears Certification ✈️
Textron Aviation says the clean-sheet single-engine turboprop is entering the final stretch of flight testing, with certification targeted for Q4 2026 and entry into service expected in Q1 2027.

With more than 4,100 flight hours across 1,650 flights, the Denali is getting closer to joining the next generation of turboprops.
