Before we mix a single yard we are grading the base, checking drainage, and setting forms. Most problems people run into with a new driveway or slab trace back to what happened, or did not happen, before the concrete.

Here is a question worth asking before you hire any contractor: are they handling the site prep, or just showing up to pour?

We clear the lot, grade the site, handle the excavation, set the forms, and pour it. All in house, same crew, start to finish.

Three contractors would have taken three schedules to coordinate. You do not need any of that.

Someone called us about a patio a few weeks back. Once we walked the yard, the ground wasn't draining right, and pouring over that would've undone the whole thing in a year or two.

We fixed the drainage first, then did the patio right after. Same crew, same week. If something like that's been sitting on your list, tell us what it looks like.
