In 2009, Kraig Kendall fulfilled a long standing desire to do two things: 1) To re-brand and tweak his existing business to better serve his customer base, and 2) To bring in his son, Khris, so they could finally work and grow a business together. Kraig operated and was a partner in Resource Servi
ces, Inc. When Khris agreed to come on board, the two of them formed KenMar Energy Services, LLC. Resource Services and KenMar both provided chemicals such as soaps, foamers, soap sticks, scale inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors primarily to natural gas drillers in the Arkoma Basin. They also provided herbicide application services. In addition to the chemicals, their companies sold and serviced chemical injection pumps, and were able to provide minor service work on wells. Kraig, Khris, and their team had an excellent reputation of knowledge, dependability, attention to detail, customer satisfaction, and most importantly, safety. They were consistently recognized with awards for their excellence in safety practices and history. Unfortunately, Kraig passed away on January 20, 2012. But, plans were already underway to change the corporate structure of their company at that time. So, at the urging of their existing customers, Khris decided to fulfill the dream that they all started. This is how Kendall Energy Services Corporation began.
