It's been an incredible couple of weeks at JAM hangar! We took on a thrilling challenge, flying down to KMWL to rescue a B58 Baron with a faulty starter adapter. That was just the beginning of an action-packed 14-hour day! We're also making great progress on several other projects, including a C172H annual, a C182T annual, and a C207 upgrade with wheel pants and test flying. Plus, we're nearing completion on our C182G top overhaul, which should be up and running soon. We're passionate about helping you love your airplane, and we're proud to be a trusted partner for aircraft owners in Fort Smith. What a week, indeed!

Sometimes as we get going there are things that are hard and more difficult than other things. Changing these fuel bags and finding this leak was one of those. Only because of the dozen times we added fuel just to watch it leak out. Tracing back fuel drip after fuel drip. Removing and reinstalling every inspection panel over and over again.
Finally we found the small tear. It was in the bottom of a transfer tube between bladder tanks. Almost undetectable unless fuel fuel was added in order to spread this tear and leak fuel out. This is the “box bag” just behind the right engine on a 58 baron. This tube was easily separate from the bag itself and it is not supposed to be removable. Bags generally last about 20 years and this one was manufactured in 1996. That’s a good life for a fuel bag. Needless to say- the new 3000 dollar fuel bag is installed and it no longer leaks. It was only possible with a great team.

Most of the time— we love airplanes. Let us help you love yours. Eric

It’s has been a full few weeks in the JAM hangar. We recovered a 58 Baron out in hot springs with a busted bladder tank- finished the break in flight on our G3 SR22- brought in a Grumman AA5B tiger for annual- and started a long project on a C182G that needs engine and radio work. We aren’t playing around. We are building a business and doing it fast!

Our website should be live soon! Magnets- hats- shirts- and stickers are on the way. Here is some photos of us that will be up on our website.

Here’s the thing- we love airplanes. Let us help you love yours!

Enjoy some of these photos of a Beechcraft Staggerwing I got the pleasure of putting avionics in. N67716 is coming up for sale. My teacher- Peter Heffley and I installed this completely digital retrofit avionics panel. I was on the back end of this project with only being apart of the last 3 years on a 6 year avionics install. This airplane went on to win Best-In-Class at the Oshkosh Airshow. We were so proud and still are!

We are not playing around- we work HARD and keep you in the loop on ALL the work we perform. Let us get you flying! 8175597603

I did this instrument panel just 2.5 years ago. It’s a nice one! Fully powder coated, laser engraved, and paint filled.
