100' Fence replacement in Azle.

This one had a fun section to be installed around a telephone pole. It turned out to be my neighbor's favorite part and our favorite part to build. Replaced 2 gates that now close like butter and don't need to be lifted by hand to close properly.

Barn door installation in Boswell Ranch.

We actually repurposed an old bed frame and used one of the rails for our header board. Was able to paint the screws black using a q-tip so they blended better with the stain color.

20ft flag pole installation in Weatherford.

This one was a little challenging because the sloped landscape made the leveled pole look crooked. Although my level showed the pole in perfect alignment, when I stood back, it looked like it was leaning. To get it perfect, I took my prybar and leveled it on a bucket. Then, I backed up a good 50ft and used my phone camera to assist. I knew if I held the camera so the prybar was level on the screen and was able to line up the pole perfectly with the edge of the screen, it should be level.

With the help of two curious friends, we were able to get this flag pole up straight and ready hoist a very important flag.🇺🇲

Im sure you've seen these little sections of pipe around your eaves, and some are probably dripping water in the Summer.

These are actually part of your home's A/C condensate line. As the system cools, moisture collects, and as it collects, it needs to go somewhere. The condensate line normally travels down and into a bathroom sink drain, usually a guest bathroom. If that drain gets clogged, water fills the line. Instead of it just pooling up, it flows out the secondary line which is the pipe under the eaves.
So if you see water dripping out from the eaves, check your bathroom drain for a clog. It might just be tiny enough to only affect the A/C line. This may help prevent costly repairs or damage to your ceiling.

If your refrigerator is no longer cooling properly or seems to be struggling, check your coils for dust build-up first before calling for repair. Coils are normally located on the back of the unit or underneath behind a panel. Refrigerators work by removing heat from inside the unit. The coils are where that heat is expelled. If the coils are covered in dust, the heat can't be expelled.
Think of it like this...
When its cold, we wrap in a blanket to contain the heat. When it's hot, we remove the blanket to cool off. In this case, the dust is the blanket keeping the fridge warm inside.
So, keep the coils clean and allow your fridge to be efficient.

Installed some cabinet hardware and bathroom hardware in Innisbrook Place over the weekend.

All in all, 26 handles and 6 different bath pieces. Measuring, leveling, and overall precision is critical when installing cabinet hardware as it is uber-obvious to EVERYONE when handles dont line up. This is when my borderline OCD kicks in.

Ironically, I was called back to my neighbor's house to fix her curtain rod. A family member installed one portion of the rod using the cheap plastic anchors and I later finished the install using toggle bolts. The portion with the cheap anchors popped out, bending the bracket, while the portion with toggle bolts remained solid.

I've said it time and time again. These little plastic push-in wall anchors that come with curtain rods, towel bars, etc, need to be tossed out. They are simply inadequate for the intended purpose. Now, they will hold up a curtain rod. They'll hold up a towel bar. But...as soon as you add a set of curtains being opened and closed daily, or add a wet towel, or accidentally, ever so slightly, lean on that towel bar, they pull loose from the wall.

Don't. Use. Those. Cheap. Anchors.

Opt for toggle bolts/butterfly anchors instead. MUCH stronger hold. Shown in the pictures.

Replaced a gate near Alliance yesterday. What once held a rotten, falling off the hinges gate, now holds a built-to-last, closes like butter, wooden portal.
