We were honored to host The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth for their final Member Get Together of the 2025–2026 membership year at Whiskey Ranch. 🥃🥃

As Steele & Freeman’s first time hosting an event for the organization, we were grateful for the opportunity to welcome so many professionals from across the community to one of our projects for an evening of conversation, connection, and celebration to close out the membership year. The City of Carrollton has officially kicked off construction on Fire Station No. 6, marking an exciting milestone in the city’s continued growth and commitment to public safety. This new facility will provide vital resources and support for first responders, helping ensure faster response times and enhanced service for the community.

From concept to construction, this project reflects a shared dedication to building infrastructure that serves both today’s needs and tomorrow’s demands. We’re proud to partner on a project that will stand behind the men and women who protect and serve Carrollton every day.

Steele & Freeman is proud to share that our project, the City of Sachse Animal Shelter has received been awarded the TEXO Distinguished Building Award in the General Contractor – Building 2 ($2–$5M) category.

This 5,792 SF, no-kill facility was designed to support a growing community with modern, long-term solutions for animal care and adoption. Featuring 27 kennels (including outdoor runs), expanded cat and kitten spaces, meet-and-greet rooms, and a dedicated exercise area, the shelter enhances both animal wellbeing and the adoption experience.

From improved functionality to a welcoming public environment, this project reflects what thoughtful construction can achieve.

We’re excited to officially break ground on Fire Station No. 4 for the City of Midlothian and kick off construction on this important project. 🚧🚒

This 18,000 SF facility is designed to support the department now and into the future, featuring four drive-through bays with Four-Fold Doors and thoughtfully planned spaces that balance durability with comfort.

Inside, the station will include a state-of-the-art kitchen, a spacious dining area with vaulted wood ceilings and a fireplace, a fitness room, a media room with raised platform seating, and single bunk rooms—creating a space that feels like home for the crew who serve this community every day.

We’re incredibly thankful to the City of Midlothian for continuing to partner with us and we truly value the opportunity to work together once again.
