Project Highlight: Cedars Blue Lab 🔬

This 30,000 square-foot open research laboratory build-out includes the installation of all sheet metal, mechanical piping, and plumbing systems. The scope features two air handling units, two rooftop chillers, boilers, pumps, and a rooftop mechanical platform designed to support critical building operations.

The project also includes the installation of four rooftop exhaust fans that will provide specialized laboratory exhaust and ventilation for the research spaces, helping maintain the environmental conditions required for advanced research activities. 🧪🧫

The Morgan Hill Fabrication Shop is where innovation and collaboration come together. Built through a partnership between Pan-Pacific Mechanical, Rosendin Electric, Brady West Inc., and West Coast Firestopping, this cutting-edge facility is driving efficiency and teamwork to the next level. 🛠️

The fab shop will support the construction of a new Kaiser Replacement Hospital in NorCal through the prefabrication of headwalls, footwalls, sinks, and modular shower walls.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’re focusing on recognizing mental hazards early, responding the right way, and respecting ourselves and each other enough to speak up when something feels off.

Physical hazards are often easy to spot. Mental hazards take a little more awareness. By identifying them early, we can help prevent mistakes before they happen and better support ourselves and our crew, both on and off the job. 🤝

We are proud to have completed the plumbing scope for the new Surgical Pavilion at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Irvine, which is part of the campus’s major expansion. 🏥 The new Surgical Pavilion expands patient care providing:

- (12) Pre-Op Rooms
- (2) Outpatient Procedure Rooms
- (7) Operating Theaters
- (1) Hybrid Operating Room
- (12) Post-Anesthesia Care Units
- (24) Single-Room Intensive Care Unit Rooms

This project supports critical infrastructure upgrades and the development of advanced medical facilities across the entire Hoag Irvine campus, enhancing patient care, surgical capacity, and emergency preparedness.

A lot of time, effort, and teamwork went into this project, and we’re proud to have been part of it. Always great to see the final result come to life! 👏

UC Santa Cruz Kresge College 🏫

This design-build project is expanding the capacity of this historic campus, introducing 14 new buildings dedicated to non-academic housing, study spaces, lounges, and terraced outdoor areas—all thoughtfully organized across seven different phases.

Our team is actively delivering both plumbing and mechanical scopes, supporting high-performance systems throughout the development. The project features energy recovery ventilators for efficient dorm ventilation, electric baseboard heaters for reliable heating, and central CO2 heat pump water heaters to provide sustainable hot water across the buildings. ♻️

Construction is progressing steady, with Phase 2 on track for completion in the coming months!
