Pan-Pacific Mechanical was proud to join IWSH (International Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Foundation) for the Los Angeles Community Plumbing Challenge, volunteering alongside industry partners to help deliver essential plumbing improvements to the community.

The new and improved LAX Terminal 5 spans more than 300,000 square feet across the Headhouse and the Concourse and will feature approximately 30 gates, enhancing the passenger experience at one of the nation’s busiest airports. 🛫

We were awarded the plumbing scope for the Headhouse and broke ground this past May with the installation of the project’s deepest utility—a 12-inch sewer line buried 14 feet below grade.

Additional underground plumbing systems include storm drain, waste and vent, grease waste, and subsurface drainage, laying the foundation for the next phase of construction. 🪏

We brought a little World Cup energy to this year’s Bring Your Kid to Work Day with The Pan-Pacific Cup! ⚽️🏆

The day was filled with games, hands-on activities, and a behind-the-scenes look at what we do every day. It was a great opportunity to welcome the next generation into our workplace and share a little of what makes Pan-Pacific Mechanical so special.

Heathcock Hall is a new 81,700-square-foot academic laboratory building at UC Berkeley that will support the university’s chemistry students, faculty, and research staff. 🏫

Our scope includes the installation of mechanical piping and ductwork throughout the facility. One of the project’s most complex challenges was the limited rooftop footprint which required precise engineering and installation of heat pump chillers, double-stacked air handling units, and exhaust recovery systems.

Working in the heart of UC Berkeley’s active campus during the academic year demanded detailed planning, coordination, and ex*****on to safely complete the work while minimizing disruption in a busy urban environment.

Our team has successfully completed the rooftop equipment installation, marking a major milestone as the project moves toward startup this September. 🎯
