Do Not Mess with the Peregrine Falcon

The Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River is one of the best places in Maryland to spot birds of prey in action. Exciting aerial battles like this one between a peregrine falcon and bald eagle are usually territorial in nature. Both birds nest directly on or near the dam structure, and will defend their nesting sites by beak and talon.

Beach deer a friend saw a few years ago in Delaware Seashore State Park .. deer was fine just resting apparently probably had a long swim ... We see them swimming all the time around the inland bays and have even seen them on the inner wall in the harbor of safe refuge
