Cambridge offers a traditional shadow-box design with both sides of the fence finished for a clean, professional look. Its alternating pickets allow for increased airflow, a major advantage in intense climates. Proven to withstand hurricane-force winds without significant damage, Cambridge combines strength with style. Its ingenious design places rails inside the pickets for maximum support while allowing the fence to rack with up to six feet of elevation change in just over five linear feet. An optional Top Cap adds a refined finishing touch.

Essex delivers the perfect balance of privacy, security, and aesthetics. With pickets on one side of the rails—and every other picket inverted—it forms a solid visual block while still racking smoothly with landscape contours (up to three feet of elevation change in seven linear feet). Like Cambridge, Essex offers an optional Top Cap for a customized appearance.

Finding the right solution for different areas of a project sometimes comes down to the basics: Quality and Efficiency. When it comes to perimeter fencing and enclosure systems, University of Louisiana Monroe needed a high quality product that wasn't going to push back deadlines. BASTEEL Perimeter Systems was able to offer a lead time of less than 6 weeks for the enclosure pictured here, beating out our competitors who average 12-16 weeks for this same project. And it's not quality that suffers. BASTEEL keeps a high inventory of raw materials, allowing us to be nimble with custom design orders and quick for turnaround on almost any standard color project. This is all done using the highest quality materials galvanized to G90 minimum specifications meeting ASTM A653 standards. Our final product, after a meticulous pre-treatment and coating process, has been rigorously tested to ensure it exceeds AAMA 2605 weathering performance expectations.

To meet a range of architectural visions and security needs, BASTEEL offers three striking picket top options: the Barb-Arm, R-Top pressed point, and the bold Knox-Top. With BASTEEL, your perimeter solution becomes an integral part of the overall design.

BASTEEL recently completed two government building projects with architects aiming to enhance privacy and add anti-climb features. Knox-Top is featured in these projects on the Shield security fence product, which provides a semi-private look, as well as Citadel for full privacy.

Newton Park, located in Lakeville, IL, is a community sports complex with acres dedicated to soccer, softball, and baseball fields. The most recent expansion allowed for regulation play, bringing in large crowds for games and tournaments from all over the Midwest. BASTEEL was proud to be a part of the expansion project, tasked with enclosing a backup generator, 3 HVAC units, and a dumpster site. To ensure an aesthetically pleasing result that blended with the surroundings, BASTEEL was able to create a custom green color solution to match the parks roofs, gutters, and soffits. The dumpster and generator enclosures feature the BASTEEL Bennington design. HVAC units require a certain allowance for airflow, so the Yorktown style was chosen for those enclosures. This fence was expertly installed by Milestone Fence LLC of Mishawaka, IN.

Prior to acquiring the product line now known as BASTEEL Perimeter Systems, our company originally manufactured the tooling used to fabricate the product.
