Some window parts simply aren’t available off the shelf. So we make them ourselves!

At Makau Renovation, we hand-cut and shape custom wooden sash components to match the original profiles.

The photo shows exactly that - an original window sash section next to a new piece we crafted from scratch.

Every cut, groove, and detail is carefully recreated to ensure a proper fit while preserving the original window.

Not just a repair. Real craftsmanship.

Let winter be about cozy evenings and beautiful views - not windows that won’t close 🍂🏡

Before the cold arrives, give your windows a little attention. Rotted wood, worn-out caulking, and faulty hardware can leave them struggling through winter. Gaps and cracks can also let in moisture, drafts, and insects looking for a place to spend the season.

The good news? A full window replacement isn’t always necessary. Often, we can repair the damaged areas and restore proper operation, giving your windows a second life for years to come.

Let us take care of the repairs while you enjoy the beautiful fall season and start dreaming of Christmas with family. 🎄

A lot of what we do isn’t just about making it look better - it’s figuring out what can be saved, what needs to go, and rebuilding it the right way.
