Congratulations to our Frederick County 4-H Educator Anna Glenn for receiving a grant from the Maryland Agriculture Council to support agriculture education for youth in our community. It was great to see so many Frederick County farms, businesses, and families represented at the Taste of Maryland event last night β€πŸ’›πŸ–€ πŸ€

Thanks Tuscarora Farms for the warm welcome and the support of these youth in their passion for robotics! The flamingos are enjoying the corn, too! 🌽🦩🌽🦩🌽🦩🌽🦩🌽🦩🌽🦩

Hello Tuscarora Farms friends and valued customers.

Have you ever wanted to be a part of supporting the education of kids that enjoy learning and excelling and being enthusiastic about it?

Yes? Well, we feel the same way.

Robo Rangers Frederick County 4-H Clubhas found a unique way to help them garner attention to their cause by β€œFlocking” businesses with pink flamingos. QR code will be pictured in the comments.

On a personal note, I happened to be in line at Whistle Punk Farm Food Truck getting lunch for our help today and was standing right next to the folks in that club. To say that I was impressed is an understatement, with the 4-H group and the food as well from Whistle Punk Farm.

How did all of this happen?

Well, our close friends at Rocky Point Creamery nominated us after they were flocked.

So...it only seems natural to nominate our close friends at Thanksgiving Farms to be flocked next.

On a final note, words cannot describe how nice it is to be a small part of a very tight knit community of farmers.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Rocky Point Creamery has made their nomination for the next flocking. It looks like the Flamingo Army will be moving to the wild corn fields of Tuscarora Farms 🌽🌽! They say, corn have earsπŸ‘‚, so the flamingos 🦩 will need to be stealthy πŸ€«πŸ€«πŸ”Ž.
