Fahrenheit Robotics

10/18/2026

Fahrenheit Robotics Team 6882 had a great time at the Fredericksburg Farmers Market on Saturday! 🎃🤖

Kudos to our students and mentors who stuck it out, even though it rained a good amount. They showed off the robot, talked with families about what FIRST Robotics is all about, and sold a few of our Pumpkinators.

A Pumpkinator is a motion-activated Halloween prop with lights and sound, built by our students to learn electronics with Arduino. Each one comes ready to use out of the box, and if you like to tinker, you can load your own light and sound shows. Every Pumpkinator sold helps fund our team's season. A big thank you to the Fredericksburg, VA Farmers Market team for hosting us, to everyone who stopped by, and to our families who came out in the rain. 💙

Interested in joining us? We're always looking for new students, mentors and volunteers. Message us here or email [email protected] and we'll tell you how to get involved.

A couple weeks ago, Fahrenheit Robotics kicked off our annual Friends & Family campaign! As a community team, we rely on donations from our friends and our family to help us continue to run this great team. Donations will go directly to support competition registration, t-shirt orders, and other materials required for building a robot.
