Scalamandre Construction is advancing work on a major aircraft apron expansion, creating the pavement and supporting infrastructure needed to keep planes moving efficiently on the ground. From underground utilities to massive concrete placements, every operation plays a role in supporting the daily demands of one of the nation’s busiest airports.

Crews actively working at the JFK Hardstand project. An aircraft parking apron (hardstand) construction effort at John F. Kennedy International Airport, delivered through a Scalamandre–Tully joint venture. The scope covers heavy civil and concrete paving work to build out aircraft standing areas, along with associated grading, drainage, utility relocation, and supporting site infrastructure to bring the apron up to airport operational standards.
