Crews actively working at the JFK Hardstand project. An aircraft parking apron (hardstand) construction effort at John F. Kennedy International Airport, delivered through a Scalamandre–Tully joint venture. The scope covers heavy civil and concrete paving work to build out aircraft standing areas, along with associated grading, drainage, utility relocation, and supporting site infrastructure to bring the apron up to airport operational standards.

We are proud to announce that Scalamandre has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 ASCE Highway Project of the Year Award for the Route 347 Corridor Modernization – Phase 4A/4B in Suffolk County, New York.

This recognition reflects the extensive coordination, planning, and ex*****on required to deliver one of the region’s most impactful infrastructure projects. From roadway reconstruction and drainage improvements to traffic management and final paving operations, each phase demanded precision while maintaining an active, high-traffic corridor.
