Freeport Diesel and Marine is looking to expand our team. We are a fast-paced, growing marine mechanical service provider.

Our scope of work is very broad, including engine work, plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration, welding/fabrication, machine work, etc. Our primary focus is on marine diesel engine maintenance, installations, and repowers.

We are certified dealers for Cummins, FPT, Nanni, Northern Lights, and Mitsubishi.

We offer very competitive pay, a great working environment, and a 401(k) with a match. We are exploring healthcare options and have some options already in place.

**We are primarily looking for a diesel mechanic with marine experience, but we will consider someone within the industry who needs a little direction and has a solid mechanical background.

Great product here. Don't sleep on the Mitsubishi's!

With EPA Tier 4 transition rules possibly expiring in 2027, heavier engines with a higher horsepower-to-displacement ratio, like Mitsubishi, may increase in popularity. “It's already happening,” says Jacob Yoder, dealer development at Laborde Products, in Deer Park, Texas.
