❤️Our favorite term 'barn masters' shifted to 'stair masters' this week when Jamie and Mike hoisted a custom helical stair system into place. Once railings and balusters are installed, this will provide access to the third-floor barn loft space. ❤️

We raised one of our Winslow display frames this week for a wonderful client who wrote the following note to our team that made our day. We appreciate the trust clients put in our hands and are looking forward to completing this barn in the coming weeks. 🛠️

"After watching Jamie and his crew this morning during the frame-raising, I feel certain that I made the right decision. Although the crew has previously built innumerable large barns and houses, they still displayed a practically gleeful enthusiasm about raising the timber frame of my modest barn. It was a heck of a lot of fun to watch."

The wooden screen panel closet doors and nearby wall, designed by our Architect, Peter Anderson, are both functional and decorative. They add visual interest while helping to divide the space, maintaining sightlines and airflow. The douglas fir wood selected for the panels perfectly complement the timber trusses in the main living space.

With the siding and windows in place, the style of this barn is taking shape. We can almost hear the sound of future pickleball games! Our architect and the interior designers have some cool details that we are excited to share as they come together.❤

With ice-out complete on the lakes in Maine, it is time to prepare for another spring and summer in Vacationland. This 28' x 32' lake side barn is the perfect place for easy indoor boat storage plus a place for games and relaxing on the upper level.
