Great Story from the CalFest convention - the Director of the Mountain Mandarin Festival in Auburn, CA promoted his event by participating in a St. Patrick's parade and handing out 500 bright orange Coupom(tm) shakers along the route. These have a punch-out token in the handle, and we printed "Mandarin Festival $2 off admission" with event dates on the token. Not only were they highly visible when kids waved them but he received 10 token redemptions at his festival 8 months later!
