The final concrete pour for the East Mission Gorge diversion structure marks a major milestone for the Advanced Water Purification Program.

This structure is where the journey begins.

Once complete, it will receive raw wastewater from the existing collection system and redirect it to the East Mission Gorge Pump Station. From there, it will be pumped through the new pipeline to the main Advanced Water Purification facilities, making this a critical link in the infrastructure that supports the entire program.

Projects like this demand careful planning, precise sequencing, and close coordination from the field teams who bring them to life safely, one milestone at a time.
While much of this work happens below ground and out of sight, its impact will be felt for decades through the reliable infrastructure that helps protect public health and supports the future of water in our communities.

Another step forward at the City of Visalia Water Conservation Plant as our team reaches key milestones on the Digester No. 04 Pipe Replacement project.

All retaining and dividing walls for the screw press system have been poured and stripped.

Crews are now shifting their focus to the sludge drying beds, where sand placement is underway to prepare the beds for future operation.

Projects like this require careful planning, coordination, and attention to detail at every stage. It's steady progress that helps strengthen critical wastewater infrastructure and supports reliable service for the Visalia community.

We're proud of the work our field teams are doing and look forward to sharing more as the project continues.

Construction continues to move forward at the East Mission Gorge Pump Station with major milestones taking shape both above and below ground.

Our team recently completed excavation of the new diversion structure and poured the slab on grade. Next up is forming and pouring the structure's walls.

The diversion structure plays a critical role in the system. Once complete, it will redirect wastewater to the East Mission Gorge Pump Station, where it will be pumped through the new pipeline to Package 1. It's a key component that helps move wastewater safely and efficiently through the collection system.

Another important milestone was reached as all four pumps successfully completed testing, confirming the equipment is ready for the next phase of the project.

Every step brings the project closer to delivering reliable infrastructure that supports essential wastewater service for the community. It takes careful planning, coordination, and the dedication of the field teams to move complex projects like this forward safely and successfully.

This Fourth of July, America celebrates 250 years.

For 81 of those years, Lyles has been proud to help build the infrastructure that keeps communities strong.

From delivering clean water and treating wastewater to building the systems that protect public health and support future generations, we've had the privilege of serving alongside the people who make this country work every day.

As we celebrate our nation's milestone, we're especially grateful for the dedicated craft professionals, field leaders, military veterans, clients, and partners whose hard work continues to build a stronger tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day.

Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Lyles.

July 1 marks more than the start of a new month. It marks the beginning of the second half of the year.

Over the past six months, our teams have advanced critical water, wastewater, and environmental infrastructure projects that communities depend on every day. From breaking ground to reaching major milestones, every step has been built on planning, collaboration, and the dedication of the people doing the work.

The second half of the year brings new challenges, new opportunities, and more chances to deliver projects that matter.

Thank you to every craft professional, superintendent, engineer, project manager, and partner who has helped move our work forward. We look forward to building on that momentum together.

Here's to a strong second half of 2026.

The finish line is in sight at the Dos Palos Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Our team has entered startup and commissioning, marking the final phase of the project as systems are tested, optimized, and prepared for long-term operation. From process equipment to site paving, the work is complete, and the transformation is clear.

Startup is where months of planning, coordination, and craftsmanship come together. Every system is carefully verified to ensure the facility is ready to perform as designed and provide reliable service for the community for years to come.

Congratulations to the entire project team for reaching this important milestone. The attention to detail, commitment to safety, and steady ex*****on have brought the project to this final stage, one step closer to delivering infrastructure the Dos Palos community can depend on.
