Circa Dec 2020 - Do you recognize this place? Hint: Famous childhood crackers are shaped like it. Answer? I'll tell you in a moment.

First let's get to the nitty gritty. Here is the outside entrance of a walk in refrigerator and freezer. At the crack of dawn our technicians were at the scene even with chilly weather conditions. There was an estimated $5k of perishable goods in this unit and the time was ticking on how long the insulation would hold up. Once the cold air is gone the items inside would start to spoil and rot. Super Air Repair was on the scene to reinforce the insulation and apply the unit's basic repair to keep the thermostat working. Normally the technicians are asked to try out some of the products to make sure the items are properly being refrigerated just like they do for the Subway, Baskin-Robbins & Waffle house repairs. However, this was the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. Our techs sometimes work so much they will eat like an animal but this time they decided to lay off the Animal Zoo food. Maybe next time!

Have you ever thought of being an appliance repair technician? Put your thinking caps on. What I'm about to explain will be followed by a quiz and an essay. If you fail, there will be no churros for you! So, in this pic is one of our gauges. The diagnosis is called "High Head Pressure". Typically accompanied by a low suction pressure and this combined with High Head pressure is indicative of restriction of refrigerant. This equates to air and vaporized water traveling through your HVAC's evaporator until they get to the top of the compressor, where it remains because it will not condense. Super Air Repair was on hand for the appliance repairs at this undisclosed Mexican Restaurant in Fresno.

We know what a BLT is, right? Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato! What is a TXV? I'll tell you in a moment. First, besides repairing appliances for Baskin Robbins, our next favorite place to make a repair is Jersey Mikes Subs. Why? Because our technician are men and men like sandwiches being made for them. Our techs drive all around, all week, all day to as far as Bakersfield, Lemoore, Firebaugh and sometimes Salinas for repairs. That works up an appetite. Fortunately for this repair, it was easy to get to. Sometimes the trouble making part is hidden within the casing of the appliance. This picture is of the low temp freezer at Jersey Mikes. The TXV was not working properly. The TXV is Thermal Expansion Valve and it's an important piece of equipment in the HVAC industry as well. The valve is used to control the amount of refrigerant released to the evaporator section. Super Air Repair was on hand for the diagnosis, repair and follow up.

What does burnt plastic smell like? Look at this picture and you can almost smell it. Go ahead and zoom in, scratch and sniff if you want cuz the schnazzberries don't smell like schanazzberries. WARNING: Do Not Attempt to diagnose any fuse boxes. Please let a professional technician handle it. Special steps and safety procedures are always taken before going near the fuse box. Ever notice the technician's gloves and rubber boots? They can make unnecessary mistakes too but instead of getting electrocuted well, they live. So, this bad boy had to be replaced along with other wiring that had melted due to overuse. Super Air Repair was on hand for the rooftop air conditioning repairs in Fresno.

STOP! Take a deep breathe and exhale. Fresh air is pumping thoroughly to all the rooms down below. Half of the air was leaking into the attic due to rodents making beds made from the insulation. It took 3 years for the home owners to discover the damage. Super Air Repair took this picture mid-installation. This is a new York horizontal flow split system installed by Super Air Repair. We tested the install a few times before the final clean up and seals were placed. This can cause the electric bill to double as the bigger the hole the harder and longer the unit has to work to generate the desired temperature. Especially costly during the Summer heat; the Fresno Summer heat is like no other.
