"Hot Dawg"! -- A Modine brand garage heater. This customer in the Dalton area wanted heat in his garage, in addition to his new house. By the flat screen TV on the wall he's evidently planning to spend some time in there. Unlike infloor heat, Hot Dawg heaters won't keep your floor warm. However, their advantage is lower upfront and operating costs, and instant heat. We're happy to do it either way, since we sell and install both.

Contrary to what unhandy thoughts may tell an unhandy person, yes, you do need an air filter in your furnace or you will end up with a blanket of dirt and lint on your air conditioning coil (which when it comes off looks like something other than a blanket..), an expensive service call, and a furnace and air conditioner with a shortened life. Don't neglect that which keeps you comfortable all year...

What we do is the unseen. It gets hidden in little mechical rooms and boxed into walls. Home owners call it "the furnace" and "the ducts" -- and think little of it -- but what we in our industry call that unseen thing is "comfort".
