Inspectir Systems, Inc. is concerned with the documented risks associated with illicit drug detection, especially Fentanyl, for K9 officers including the inhalation of aerosolized powder in closed spaces, ingestion during search operations, and secondary exposure from contaminated equipment.

Our tool, FIDO, provides rapid, non-contact detection for narcotic substances in operational environments. As either a standalone or complimentary tool our portable mass spectrometry system will mitigate risks for law enforcement as part of updated, evidence-based protocols allowing officers to make informed decisions and reduce canine exposure.
