Roboteers

Roboteers Updates for our All Girl Elementary Robotics Team from Fruitland Park Florida headed to the VEX Robo We began competing in December. Thank you in advance.

We are the Roboteers, Team 10217B from Fruitland Park Elementary School. We are one of only five elementary teams from Florida invited to compete in the VEX Robotics IQ World Championships, April 20th to 23rd, 2016. We will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky to compete against elementary teams from 35 countries around the world! At our first competition, we finished in last place. We have worked

together to design, program and compete through trials of errors and successes. We overcame many struggles and ended our season by placing third in the finals at The Florida State VEX IQ Championship in Tampa, Florida on February 14th. Our goal is to raise $6000 to cover travel, lodging and registration expenses. We would love for you to join us on this part of our journey by either supporting us financially or “in-kind” (t-shirts, banner, personalized giveaways to share with the teams from around the world). Donations can be made payable to Fruitland Park Robotics and are tax deductible. We only have 6 weeks to raise these funds. Your support is greatly appreciated. Community sponsors will be listed on our team shirts as Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze based on the following donations, however ANY and ALL donations are appreciated. PLATINUM: $2000 & up Logo/name of business on all future correspondence and banner to hang in school at events all year long. GOLD: $1000 to $1999
SILVER: $500 to $999
BRONZE: $250 to $499

Kind regards,
