The position will set-up and perform welds following standard operating procedures, prepare tooling as required, read and interpret blueprints and produce parts to quality and production standards. As a Welder you will continuously learn and develop that will help drive career path within Manufacturing.

• Perform high precision TIG welding on new parts, components and finished products per sanitary welding standards
• Ability to braze and solder as necessary
• Maintain area, equipment, and tooling in a safe, clean and satisfactory operating condition

• Responsible for process monitoring and identification of weld and assembly defects

In this role you will:

• Unload daily inbound shipments of purchased materials and verify accuracy of receipts to purchase orders.

• Processing of necessary receiving paperwork to include Packing Lists and material certification transactions
• Ability to drive a forklift in a safe and efficient manner (Forklift certification required)

• Ensure proper identification of kanban bin, accuracy of kanban quantities and distribution of goods to appropriated stocking locations and assembly cells.
• Maintain first-in/first-out (FIFO) and presentation of material in the stocking locations
• Monitor cell outbound shelves and pick-up items ready for shipping
• Ensure shipments match customer order
• Determines the best packaging option depending on the size, contents and shipping method
• Ensure all proper shipping paperwork and computer entries are accurately completed for all shipments daily
• Comply with all import / export compliance regulations
• Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area at all times.
• Ensure proper inventory level of materials within area of responsibility (cardboard, packing paper, stock items etc.)
