This is a comment we get all the time, so we did a scientific comparison of Crocodile Cloth vs dish soap. We think there’s a clear winner here, but let’s review and you can be the judge:
Crocodile Cloth AutoSCRUB:
- Pull out a wipe (from the container right next to you, since it’s portable).
- Use the wipe (made to clean just about any tough automotive mess). Hands are clean.
- Throw the wipe away.
- Skin-safe, no alcohol, won’t dry or crack your skin, AND you can use it to clean tools, parts, and surfaces, unlike a soap.
Dish soap:
- Walk from wherever you are to the sink.
- Touch doorknobs or furniture along the way with whatever you have on your hands.
- Find the soap
- Use a ton of water scrubbing for 30 seconds or more.
- Hands still visibly dirty.
- Use more paper towels than you should have to.
- Walk across the shop back to your station.
- Pick up your greasy tool, and have to do it all over again since you can’t use soap and water to clean your power tools.
What should we prove next?
