That’s a LOT of duct board. 😳👑

Colin and Fred put in some HOT work yesterday on this full duct changeout, getting the toughest parts of the job knocked out and all that new flex duct into place.

They’ll be heading back today to button everything up and put a bow on the job. 💪

Replacing old, worn-out ductwork makes for better airflow, more even temperatures throughout the home, and a system that doesn’t have to fight nearly as hard to keep you comfortable.

Nice work as always, fellas! 👏

We had a great time representing King’s at the Builders Association of North Central Florida's 2026 Our Town Home & Garden Show this past weekend! 🏡👑

We got to talk to a lot of new faces, catch up with old friends and, of course, BNI Green Machine was well represented.

Great seeing our friends David of Dryer Vent Wizard of Gainesville, Edward with GCM - Gainesville, FL, Leah with PEAK Literacy, Sarah with Bin There Dump That - North Central Florida, and Jakob, Rodolfo, and Andrew with True Force Roofing!

Earlier this week, our Service Manager, Tony, took some time to host a diagnostic training for the maintenance team at The Village at Gainesville. 🔧❄️

We’re grateful to be one of their trusted HVAC partners, and the goal of this training was simple: provide the best possible service for the residents in their community.

If their maintenance department can diagnose simpler issues and get a resident’s system back up and running, that’s a win-win for everyone. They can deliver faster response times by already being on site, and for more complicated issues, they’re able to relay the proper information to our technicians about what they’ve already checked and ruled out.

We’re very proud to work alongside a community that believes in the same mission of delivering the best possible service available! 👏👑

Did you hear? We’re a certified Aeroseal dealer. 😏

Yeah... we may have mentioned it.

But THIS is why we’re excited about it.

On our very first Aeroseal job in Gainesville, we reduced measured duct leakage by:

💨 61.2% on the supply side
💨 79.9% on the return side

Before sealing, that leakage was costing the system roughly ½ ton of useful capacity on the supply side and about 1 ton on the return side.

That lost air was effectively making the HVAC system perform like a much smaller unit.

Aeroseal seals those leaks from the inside, helping keep conditioned air where it belongs and keeping hot, humid unwanted air from being pulled into the return.

The payoff? Better comfort, less wasted energy, and better overall system performance.

And remember... this was our FIRST job. 👀

We’re VERY excited about what Aeroseal can do, and we’ll definitely be showing you more.

Happy 6-year anniversary to our Operations Manager, Brittney!

Britt has been such an important part of this team over the years, and there isn’t much that happens around here that she doesn’t have a hand in making run a little smoother.

And lately, she’s even gotten to spend a little time on the jobsite with her son, Richarde, who helps us out during the summer while he works toward a future in architecture. Pretty cool getting to watch these two work alongside each other. ❤️

Last week, our friend Jeannene with Central Lakes Realty gave us a call because the upstairs A/C in her two-story office building in Eustis wasn’t running. 😬❄️

The culprit? Any guesses?

Yep... a clogged drain line. 🙃

This humidity + a unit running ALL day = nasty drain lines in a hurry.

We say it all the time because it really can make a difference: pour a cup of cleaning vinegar down your A/C drain line once a month. It only takes a minute, and it could save you an unexpected service call.

Wyatt got the line cleared, the system draining properly, and the upstairs cooling again. 👑

King’s Heating & Air is officially a certified Aeroseal dealer!

Aeroseal is an automated technology designed to seal leaks in ductwork in both residential and commercial buildings. Using their non-toxic aerosol sealant, the process pressurizes duct systems, driving sealant particles directly to leaks to seal them from the inside without coating the entire duct!

We’re beyond excited to bring this service to our customers and community as we continue raising the bar and providing the best experience the HVAC industry has to offer!
