Festool is at Sherwin-Williams Gainesville Florida Newberry Road, doing a demo of their tools

I have been using their tools for over 20 years now and have quite a collection of their Sanders their does extracting have a vacuum systems. Once you use them it’s hard to go back to anything else.

Now working on the second half of the home, the three bedrooms, hallway and bathroom sanding down the orange peel and knockdown texture with 60 grit on the plane X Festtool sander.

Flex Friday time too show you what we’ve been working on this exterior took about a week and we were able to get it done before their daughter‘s birthday party. They were extremely happy with the paint job and his one of our repeat customers

Cleaners are coming in now and we’ve come to a stopping point on this side of the house. The walls were moved out with two coats of mud and sanded on top of the knockdown texture that was on the walls to come up with a level five finish lots of new trim installed and painted. Contractor and clients are very happy and we will be working on the second part of the house once demo and construction is complete completed.

Plastic always has to be primed with a bonding primer or an oil base primer. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve peeled paint off of plastic around windows and doors.

It is said that painting is all about the prep work at least 80% of the job, but what is that prep work? It’s the quality of the caulking and the fillers that you use. It is the application process the details, and most importantly on exteriors, it is making sure to avoid water intrusion. All vertical cracks should be Caulked.

These hardy siding boards are loose and falling down.

So I use a Brad nailer to secure the boards and my plastic filler spreader two spread the caulking, thin. But thick enough that it will stay and last.

Also making sure the caulking is premium grade lifetime warranty, 60 year caulking is good. It has to be mildew resistant in our climate Alachua, Florida because of all the humidity and mold we get here.
