We would like to make you aware of the new services we are now offering.

Patented remote blending capability that will allow us to reach most stages of the compressor without taking the unit apart. If impact damage is found during a routine inspection we are now able to remotely blend and perform NDE on the damaged component. This will save sites the cost of disassembly for repairs and to reduce the risk of failure if the unit is going to continue in operation. We have performed this service on numerous units with great results.

We now have two In-House Steam Turbine Engineers. Bryan Grant and Greg Fournier. They can assist with the following:
• Outage Planning
• Open Casing Steam Path Structural/NDE inspections
• Failure Risk Evaluation
• Owners Engineering Representative
• Vendor audits and pretty much anything related to the steam turbine side of the business.

We now offer Robotic Generator Inspections. This can include:
• High Resolution Visual Inspection
• Wedge tapping
• ELCID Evolution to detect faults in the core
National Electric Coil (NEC) will perform the disposition of all reports.

Steam Cleaning of rotors and compressors during hot gas path inspections.

Part Retrievals: We have equipment that can reach up to 100’.

If you or the inspection company you are using for your inspections is doing TIL 1509 and using ET instead of the OEM recommended PT you are putting your units at risk. We were recently called in to do a validation inspection after a company using ET identified two cracks on a customers 7FA. Our penetrant testing identified the same two cracks and located three others that the ET had missed. Any of these cracks could have led to another catastrophic compressor failure before the next inspection.
