This happy couple will be on display in November of 2026 at Mossman Hall’s metal art exhibit. I’ve always wanted to do a piece that the viewer could interact with. I’m tired of all the “Do Not Touch” signs!

I started this piece in 2012. I added a few pieces over the years then left it to collect rust and dust on a shelf for over a dozen years. In need of sculptures for my November exhibit, I finally finished it, got rid of the rust, and gave it a nice coat of Renaissance Wax. Hopefully it will be a nice addition to a biker’s shop or man cave someday!

This one was simple but fun. It’s a tea pick for my discerning tea drinker of a daughter. She buys tea leaves packed in tight cakes and uses this to separate the leaves before brewing.

I have an art exhibit in Melrose in November and I’m planning some sculpture that moves. I built the base for this one today and I’m excited to see how it will turn out. I never know exactly until it’s done.

Last summer I built the frames for these balconies in Micanopy, Fl. This summer I did the rails, and now the customer will paint and install plank flooring (which is worth a discount because I don’t enjoy painting). Can’t wait to see the finished space!
