Fl-821 Alumni Association If you know anyone who used to be in our FL-821 Unit, even if it was from the Class of 1982, Invite them! This is for all of us!!

This is a new idea created by Colonel and Chief and our Executive Staff to bring back some of our recent cadets who were in our program and to keep them updated on what's going on in our Unit now a days if they are interested! This will also be a way for People who have graduated from the program to give something back to the program if they want to! ore information to follow on that!

I don’t visit this page too often. I feel like most often it’s when something tragic occurs. I want to say I hope you all still care about each other. I have great memories of those times.

Matthew Schirmer was a former member. He passed away at Ft. Moore in Georgia October 19th.

There is a service on November 11th (this Saturday) 2 p.m. at:

Abiding Savior Lutheran Church
9700 W Newberry Road
Gainesville, FL 32606.

I don’t know if I will be able to make it, but maybe reach out through the obituary if you have a memory of Schirmer to share with his family.

It was nice to see those who could make it! It was a good ceremony. They have an award for Pittman and Vishnu. Almost got a few tears from that one.

Good morning everyone,

For those of you who don't know, this is Chief's last year at Buchholz. The cadets are planning on doing something special for him at the awards banquet, which will be held on the night May 2nd. It would be great if as many past cadets could show up to the banquet to show our support for everything he has done for us. I am sure he would love for us to be there when he says his final good byes. Comment below of you think you'll be attending!

Hey guys,
As some of you may have already heard, Vishnu Suresh unfortunately passed away a few days ago. We have just been told by his brother Arun that his funeral will be held tomorrow (Sunday the 5th) at 2pm. I know that this is last minute, and if you can't go that's fine. We just wanted to post the address of the funeral home that if you can/want to go, now you know where to go. Here is the address:

Was considering remaking the alumni association into a group instead of a page so we can have members instead of just people who like the page. We'd be able to keep track of just who is a member and who isn't. Just putting that out there.

Making another post to be clear. I'm doing this at 4 am. I would have tagged everyone in all the pics, but that's not a priority right now. I am also not sure about each person in each pic so it would help if you could all tag yourselves please. Send me photos. Invite everyone you know that was in FL-821.
