We celebrated the topping out of Westbard Storage Facility today. This project spanned 6 years and our crews have been out there successfully erecting over 5,000 pieces since last November. Great job making this job happen!

Check out this time lapse video of the latest project topped out by Phoenix Steel Erectors. This data center in Northern Virginia is one of a kind. Standing over 110 feet and 5 stories, it is the tallest building ever constructed in data center alley. This was a two crane operation with complex shoring and an accelerated schedule. Great job by everyone involved achieving this incredible milestone!

Last week, we said goodbye to one of the best—David Austin, who retired after years of dedication to Phoenix Steel Erectors. David was an incredibly talented superintendent with a true knack for erecting complex structures. His expertise, leadership, and work ethic made a lasting impact on our team, and his presence on the job site will be greatly missed.

While we’re sad to see him go, we’re excited for him as he moves on to this next chapter in life. Thank you, David, for everything you’ve done for PSE. We wish you all the best in retirement!

Phoenix Steel Erectors is currently erecting 6 data centers (2 pictured here) in Northern VA and Maryland. All 6 projects are two crane operations and have fast track schedules. Our crews and management in the field are doing an outstanding job performing on these jobs safely! Good work PSE and thanks to our er****on partners!

Take a ride from our office to our latest data center nearing completion in Gainesville, VA. Over the span of a couple of months our drone tracked this 4,400 ton building as it comes to life. Great work from everyone involved. We’re completing so many data centers these days but this one provided the rare opportunity to document it. We’re gathering later today with all employees at our annual picnic to celebrate the work we love to do.
