ATEX is a privately owned, internationally successful spunbond, meltblown, and composite nonwovens manufacturing operation located in Milan, Italy and Gainesville, Georgia USA. The products offered are diversified into many different markets, such as: hygiene, medical, indus
trial, agriculture, textiles, building, wipes, and automotive. The ATEX journey began in 1993 in Milan, Italy with the creation of a technically sophisticated extrusion process. Production capabilities and market growth excelled throughout the 1990’s leading to the Company’s expansion into the USA in 2000. The Gainesville, Georgia facility produces spunbond, meltblown and meltblown composites, and is strategically located near the Atlantic Ocean ports.
