Kicking off Safety Week strong! 🦺🍳

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came together yesterday (5/4) for our Safety Week Breakfast Kick-Off. It was an incredible start to a week dedicated to what matters most—making sure every single one of us gets home safely to our families.

Scot and Kellie Hottel had an incredible time representing our team at the 2026 Annual Meeting & Owners’ Forum in Cancun with industry leaders from across the country. From the welcome reception to insightful breakout sessions on recruiting, retention, financial accuracy, field productivity, and service modernization, it was a great opportunity to collaborate, learn, and bring new ideas back to strengthen our team.
The event wrapped up with a beautiful closing dinner and live music on the Sunset Terrace—an amazing way to celebrate the connections and knowledge shared throughout the week. We’re excited to bring these insights back home as we continue growing and improving for our employees and customers.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Harvey W. Hottel, Inc. family! 💙 This weekend, Jim Hill and his family volunteered at a Hispanic outreach back-to-school event—and it was amazing to see the difference they made.

When Jim asked for translators, Mauricio Chavez jumped right in. He drove from Falls Church to Purcellville, VA to help families connect with services and even worked the backpack program 🎒, making sure kids picked up brand new, fully stocked backpacks before the school year starts.

With hundreds of families served and hundreds of volunteers giving up part of their Saturday—it’s proof of what happens when people come together to help one another. 🙌

We’re so proud of Jim, his daughter, his dad, and Mauricio for stepping up. We are honored to have them represent the spirit of Harvey W. Hottel, Inc. 💪

Stepping Up for the Community âšľ
This past Wednesday afternoon, our own Jim Hill and Brady Rice were honored to umpire a spirited middle school baseball rivalry game.

Jim Hill on left, Brady on the right, Mark Nace and Jim Kennedy in the middle pictured regularly donate their time and knowledge to local youth baseball—most often through Upper Loudoun Little League in Purcellville, VA.

Brady has been volunteering as an umpire since he was just 13 or 14 years old and continues to be an incredible steward of the game.

At Harvey W. Hottel, we’re proud of team members who give back to their communities in meaningful ways—on and off the field.

A Fresh Start for this Church!

With the new season comes new improvements! We’re excited to share that the heating, ventilation, and cooling systems in the sanctuary and fellowship hall have been successfully upgraded!

âś… New AC split systems for improved comfort
âś… Replaced old air-handling units with efficient models
âś… Installed high-efficiency boilers for better heating
âś… Updated electrical panels & feeders for reliability

These upgrades will keep the church comfortable as we move into the warmer months!
