Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and for that, we are forever grateful.

This Memorial Day, we extend our deepest thanks to the fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward.

With spring on the horizon, we’re ramping up at Covert Manufacturing to support our largest customer, John Deere.
For more than 20 years, our team in Galion, Ohio has supplied precision-machined components directly to critical John Deere engine, drivetrain, and transmission production lines across the globe.
Over the last five years alone, we’ve delivered more than 1.5 million parts supporting 29 Deere locations worldwide.
If you see a John Deere tractor in the field this season, chances are it contains Covert-machined components inside.
Our long-standing commitment to quality, delivery, and performance has earned multiple recognitions — including induction into the John Deere Supplier Hall of Fame. But what we’re most proud of is the team behind the work.

📍 Covert Manufacturing

Covert Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Fixture Builder / Tool Room Machinist to join our team supporting precision manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:
• Build and modify machining fixtures and tooling
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Operate manual machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders)
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling and fixture issues
• Support production and CNC setup teams

Qualifications:
• Experience in fixture building or tool room machining
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Knowledge of machining tolerances and precision measurement tools
• Manufacturing or CNC experience preferred
