Save the dates — July 18–19, 2026 ✨ I’ll be participating in the inaugural National Craft Open Studios Weekend, presented by the American Craft Council as part of Craft in America.

This nationwide event invites the public into artists’ creative spaces for a behind-the-scenes look at the processes, materials, and inspiration behind handmade work. I’m grateful to be part of this first-of-its-kind initiative celebrating craft as a living art form and supporting makers and creative communities across the country.

So looking forward to the Idaho Cowgirl Congress next week in Ketchum, joining an incredible group of women artists whose work helps preserve and evolve the artistic traditions of the American West.

From silversmithing and saddlemaking to painting, weaving, and metalwork, this gathering celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and the stories that connect us to place and heritage.

If you're in the Sun Valley area, I'd love to see you at the public exhibition June 17–21 at the Sun Valley Museum of Art. And on Thursday, June 18 at 5:30 PM, I'll be joining fellow craftswomen Kari McCluey, Mary Martiny, and Janice Severe for a free public panel discussion at The Community Library in Ketchum. We'll be sharing stories about our work, our lives as makers, and the traditions that continue to inspire us.

Hope to see you there!

Honored to share that my piece Twin Springs has been selected for FORGE ON: 30 MARKS, ABANA’s official national traveling exhibition celebrating over 50 years of contemporary blacksmithing and forged art.

Selected from more than 150 applicants, this exhibition brings together 30 artists from across the country whose work reflects the evolving language of forged metal — honoring both tradition and innovation.

Grateful to be included alongside so many incredible artists and makers. ✨

The exhibition is currently on view at the Galesburg Community Arts Center in Illinois before continuing on its national tour.

I’ll be in Blackfoot June 25–27, 2026 for the Ranch Rodeo, demonstrating traditional forging techniques throughout the weekend. 🔥

Supported by the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, this event celebrates the enduring traditions of ranch life, craftsmanship, and community in the American West.

There’s something special about bringing blacksmithing out of the studio and into spaces like this — where the sound of the hammer, the heat of the forge, and the rhythm of the work become part of the experience itself. Looking forward to sharing the process and being part of such a meaningful event.

Looking ahead to First Thursday this week ✨ I’m honored to have Seven Sisters from my Incineration Cameos series on display at Idaho Art Gallery in downtown Boise.

This body of work explores wildfire, resilience, memory, and the delicate beauty that remains after destruction. Each piece carries layers of pressed botanicals, texture, and story — inviting viewers to pause and look closer.

If you’ll be downtown for First Thursday, stop by, explore the collection, and celebrate Boise’s vibrant local arts community during one of the city’s favorite monthly traditions.
