Condition:
Used, sourced from a government research facility. Visual inspection performed; full function testing not performed. Unit powers on and displays readings - LCD active, keypad overlay intact with all function labels legible, TSI logo and model label present (Model 8386A, S/N 03090252, Rev 0). Blue housing shows light scuffs consistent with field use. The probe knuckle joint has a broken casing with exposed internal components; wire at the knuckle is intact. A handwritten label reads TEST REF / QA #403182. Comes with communication cable, gray rubber hose, brass L-tool, operation and service manual (March 2003, Rev E), and black hard-shell carry case with TSI logo. Requires four AA batteries, not included.

Product Overview:
TSI VelociCALC Plus 8386A - a handheld multi-parameter ventilation meter that measures air velocity, temperature, relative humidity, and static/differential pressure from a single articulating probe. The 8386A model automatically calculates volumetric flow rate, dew point, wet bulb temperature, and heat flow. Data logging stores up to 1,394 samples across 275 test IDs, with logged data transferable to a computer via communication cable and TSI downloading software. The articulating probe bends to reach difficult duct locations. Velocity is measured using either the integrated thermal sensor or a Pitot tube connection. Power comes from four AA batteries or an optional AC adapter.

Product Condition:
Used. Fair cosmetic condition with scuffs and scratches from regular use and storage. A small section of the aluminum fins on the front condenser coil is slightly bent, with no observed impact on operation. The cover of the condenser coil fits quite tight and is a little hard to open. The unit heats and cools quickly with no performance issues noted during inspection. Lid is not included.
