We recently encountered a situation at a Lake Katrine residence where water continued to infiltrate despite previous work to install footing drains and seal the wall. Upon further investigation, we found that the footing drains installed in 2020 lacked proper fabric and the wrong pitch leading to clogs and failure. Cost to do Turret Properly
I had quoted this conical turret at 6k and lost job to hack who had some left over “bundles” from another job and did it for $1k. Now, homeowner is pi**ed and wants me to redo it. Also replacing gutters with 5” fiberglass with composite fascia. Im charging $550/ft for radius fiberglass gutters which includes facia and 3 inch round coordinator aluminum downspouts. Looking for advice on the best shingle for longevity. Job is on hill with high wind in Boston.

Our company completed a comprehensive renovation of a historic 1912 house, resolving various structural issues. The Bilco door entrance had failed, compromising the adjacent foundation area, and required immediate attention. The crawl space had exposed joists in some areas and joists resting on the ground in others, creating an environment conducive to rot. Due to its positioning at the base of a substantial slope, the foundation had become buried, and water flowing downhill had damaged the sill plate and floor joists. Based on an engineer's specifications, we replaced the damaged joists, installed new footings and a drop beam to provide structural support, and lifted the house that had sunk significantly. Moreover, we removed debris, built a block wall, and installed a tapered concrete slab to channel water into a sump pump, as well as a drain system to regulate surface water, and applied a plastic covering to the crawl space to maintain a dry atmosphere. Throughout the project, I had the pleasure of working with the clients, and I must say they are fantastic people to work with, making the entire experience truly enjoyable.
